For months on end ive felt a few lumps on my anal area and i now can feel them actually inside of me and i think i have something, i have booked an appointment with my local doctor but what could i use to get rid of them my self as this is embarasing going to the doctor, and how long would it take to get rid of them? please help, much appreciated x

They are hemorrhoids, nearly everyone gets them at some point in there life. You can buy over the counter stuff for them, but this has to be put in *ahem* in your butt. Or if they do get bad and are on the outside then the doc can freeze them off.
But dont be afraid of going to the doctor, he will of seen this hundreds of times before.

You can’t get rid of them yourself. You don’t even know what they are. It could be piles, it could be anal warts, it could be something else…
Don’t be embarrassed to talk to your doctor about it. It’s not like it’s the first time they’ve seen something like it. They’re doctors. They’ll probably forget about the whole thing by the time they go on their lunch break.
Calm down honey… Don’t jump to conclusions yet. Why do you think is warts? It could be a whole lot of other things. To me it sounds like hemorroids.

hello Genital HPV infections have an estimated prevalence in the US of 10-20% and clinical manifestations in 1% of the adult sexually active population.Incidence of HPV infection has
increased between 1975 and 2006. About 80% of those infected are between the ages of 17-33.
Although treatments can remove the warts, they do not remove the HPV, so warts can recur
after treatment (about 50-73% of the time), and also spontaneously regress. Traditional
theories postulated that the virus remained in the body for a lifetime. However, new
studies using sensitive DNA techniques have shown that through immunological response the
virus can either be cleared or suppressed to levels below what polymerase chain reaction
(PCR) tests can measure. One study testing genital skin for subclinical HPV using PCR found
a prevalence of 10%. now adays many people does have warts some are just embarrased to
treat it. going to a professional or docotr is quite uncomfortable experince not to
mention embarrasing. but lucky for us there are alternative treatments thats effective. my
